Slo-Mo Full Auto Glock

Normally, when discussing the use of automatic fire, we typically think of its role in suppressive fire. However, close up, a burst from a full auto mimics the multiple wound channels created by a shotgun, but each bullet provides better terminal performance than the individuals pellets from buck shot. This video of someone showing off their full auto Glock against a ballistic gelatin torso target gives you an idea of its impact:



By comparison is this video testing various shotgun shells:


While there is no mistaking the trauma of such a blast, you will notice that it only in the heavier buckshot loads that you begin to see significant penetration.

I know its not a good side-by-side comparison, but it is fun to watch.
