Conservative pundit Charlie Kirk has been shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Kirk was shot "just as he answered a question from an audience member about mass shootings committed by transgender people," says the New York Post.
Former Utah congressman Jason Chaffetz was at the event with his family. He told Fox News that the shot came during the second question Kirk was answering about transgender shooters.

He told the outlet he believed it was “no coincidence” Kirk was shot during the question about transgender mass shootings, adding that he realized “he may be criticized for that”
Chaffetz said he believed that Kirk was shot at close proximity from the front of the stage.
The Deseret News had earlier reported that a suspect was in custody, but, as of the time of my writing this, updated their report to indicate that authorities are not sure if they have the suspect and the suspect may still be at large.
Skipping the podcast tonight, for this reason. If I said what I was thinking YT would ban us. I don't think they have any idea what they've unleashed.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Kirk may not have been a politician...but this definitely was a political assassination. It's a sad commentary on the state of this country when such events start to occur. Was it just a freak incident...or will it become a trend among kooky Leftists? Beck, Hannity and all the others would be wise to further increase their level of security.
