Palmetto State Armory Teases An StG 44 Clone

You can probably find a ton of videos on this, but here is a brief article with a bunch of pictures from All Outdoors. From what the article says and what I've seen from other sources, it appears that the two major changes are (i) to the magazine and magazine catch (both of which have been updated) and (ii) caliber. On the latter issue, as you probably know, the original StG 44 was chambered in 7.92 Kurz which is pretty much unobtainable now. It appears that PSA will be offering this weapon in 5.56, or .300 Blackout, or 7.62x39, although it isn't clear whether they are only going to pick one or offer it in all three. Anyway, according the article, the soonest you can expect to see this hit the market would be in the fourth quarter of 2023, although even that could be pushed back. No word on pricing, but I anticipate it will be north of $2,500.
