I think that I've linked to this before, but Nukemap is a web app that allows you to enter a city or location of your choice (the default is New York City, with ground zero over the financial district), select the yield and other options, and then shows on a map the zones of destruction from blast, heat, and radiation. For a nuclear attack from a bomber or ballistic missile, you should leave the setting for an air burst; if the nearby target is hardened, then you probably would want to select a ground burst option. Likewise, a terrorist attack would likely detonate at or near ground level.
The one thing that would be useful would be the option for plotting standard patterns for MIRV warheads. Anyway, check it out.
