"Why Aren't There More Babies?"

As an interesting follow up to my recent post on declining birth rates in the U.S. is this article at The Guardian. It gives three possible reasons: (1) increased housing costs--apparently couples don't have children if they can't afford better living quarters; (2) teen-parent reality shows may have actually helped further drive down teen pregnancy; (3) access to cable TV--apparently a woman's easy access to soap operas is related to low fertility, based on a study made in India.
