North Korea Has Successful Rocket Launch

The BBC reports that North Korea successfully launched a rocket. North Korea claims that the purpose was to launch a satellite in orbit. But, of course, the same technology can also be used for ballistic missiles. According to the article, debris fell as far south as the Philippines. Of course, the standard view is that such a missile potentially allows North Korea to strike anywhere in Japan. However, it also allows North Korea to strike anywhere in China . . . .
