VIDEO: Training The Eyestrike

The author shares a brief video going over how to perform an eye-strike and how to train it to avoid injury to your how hand or your training partner, then he moves into a bit on hand conditioning and strengthening, and concludes with some history and real life examples where they worked and didn't work. As he said, its an option.

I would note that, and I think it was Massad Ayoob that pointed this out (at least, my source for the information) is that the blink reflex is very fast and well developed, and closed eye-lids actually provide pretty good protection to the eye. He suggested attacking from a low angle below the main line of sight, so the target does not have as much time to react.
