Water, Water, Everywhere...In Beijing

China is doing its usual job responding to record flooding in China, making even the most dysfunctional state and local governments in the U.S. look competent. To be fair, though, the diversion of water into less populated localities in order to prevent damage to heavily populated areas is used elsewhere, and is a key component to controlling flooding along the Mississippi River.

    1. This flooding is farther north. But the Three Gorges damn does make a great target for Taiwan should China attempt to invade it.
