Franklin Armory's Reformation Revealed
Recoil Magazine has the details. But the workaround to avoid being classified as an SBR was to use a barrel with straight lands and grooves. According to the article, the ATF indicated that the straight grooves and lands were not "rifling", but neither is it a smoothbore. Models will be released with and without Franklin Armory's binary trigger.
