Update (5/23/2017): "Reports are now identifying the suicide bomber who struck following an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester as 23-year-old Salman Abedi." Abedi was apparently known to authorities, but not believed to represent a threat. ISIS is claiming credit for the suicide bombing. Police have arrested another 23-year-old man in relation to the bombing, and executed two warrants as part of their investigation. There are now 22 confirmed dead and 59 injured as a result of the attack, although the Daily Mail is reporting 119 injured. From another article, "Twitter has refused to explain why a tweet which appeared to predict the Manchester Arena terror attack was not flagged up and passed to police." The latter article also indicates:
Greater Manchester Police said a controlled explosion was carried out at an address in Fallowfield as part of the investigation into the bomb attack. Officers also executed a search warrant at a property in Whalley Range.
A neighbour of the Fallowfield address, believed to be the home of the bomber, told MailOnline: 'There was an explosion and then police with guns rushed into the house.

Update (5/22/2017): Reports now indicate 19 dead and at least 50 wounded.

ORIGINAL POST (5/22/2017):

Multiple news sources are reporting on two explosions at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in England. (BBC coverage here; Manchester Evening News coverage here; and Knutsford Guardian coverage here). There are reports of multiple fatalities. Armed police are in the area and a bomb squad vehicle was seen responding to the scene. The explosions were away from the stage, and, thus, probably not pyrotechnics accidentally being set off. No official statement as to the cause has been released as of yet.
