Using a Water Bottle As a Diffusion Lens
A good idea from the Knowledge Weighs Nothing blog. Strap a headlamp onto a water container (the picture at KWN shows a gallon jug, but a smaller bottle would probably work just as fine) with the light pointed up against the bottle, to diffuse the light and make it more useful to light a space such as a tent or room.
