Shooting Sports and Concealed Carry

Caleb at Gun Nuts Media muses about which shooting sports are most relevant to concealed carry. I'm not disagreeing with him. My only comment is that Caleb seems to miss the point(s) about the IDPA 10-round limit. The purpose of the limit is two-fold: it keeps the competition to one based more on ability rather than the firearm; and, typically, it forces you to make at least one magazine change during each stage--something that I need to practice, as I've discovered.
