6 Post-Apocalyptic Places to Visit Today

I ran across an article at Cracked Magazine that discusses 6 modern ruins that give a feel for a post-apocalyptic world:

1.  The City of the Future are Expo '92 in Seville, Spain;

2.  Various abandoned WWII fortifications;

3.  The abandoned Walt Disney World water park called River Country;

4.  Several abandoned hospitals, including the Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis, which apparently still has electricity, running water, and equipment which is still powered;

5.  Various abandoned resorts, including a number in the Catskills of New York (see also here); and,

6.  Various abandoned towns and villages.

Check out the article and accompanying photos.
