Continued Delays in Connecticut

Instapundit has a news story and comments from readers concerning the slow response to power outages in Connecticut from the recent storm. It seems to be more and more common over the last decade to see winter storms knocking out power to significant numbers of people for several days or longer. Your emergency preparations should  include alternate means of lighting, cooking, and heating for at least one week, and more if you can swing it.
