From Bev Fitchett: "What Percentage of Americans Are Murderers?"

Article here. Short answer is it is impossible to answer the question because there are so many unsolved murders that we don't have a good idea the number of people that murder multiple times or how many they would murder on average. "But running the data we have through Bayesian analysis gives us ‘high confidence’ that less than one American in 2500 will kill someone during their lifetime."
