I don't know how I missed this when I went through Greg Ellifritz's most recent Weekend Knowledge Dump, but he had linked to an article by Sam Harris entitled "The Truth About Violence". It is a good summary of important points and lessons that you can find in the books by Rory Miller, Marc MacYoung, and Lawrence Kane and Kris Wilder. As Greg stated in his post, "[i]f you are going to read one article in today’s dump, make it this one."
