For My LDS Readers: Attack At Chapel In Dominican Republic

From LDS Daily: "Members Safe After Chemical Attack at Latter-day Saint Meetinghouse in the Dominican Republic." It doesn't sound like too serious of an incident. A man apparently entered the chapel during a meeting (I assume sacrament meeting), waived a toy gun modified to make it look like a real gun, and sprayed or spread some caustic substance on a few people. The incident was quickly ended after members intervened, although it is not clear if the individual was apprehended. The comments from the American members are interesting as there are quite a few that are not pleased with the Church's policy against members carrying handguns.

The plan in our ward is to have the congregation evacuate in the event of a shooting, for which we will practice an evacuation once or twice a year. About half of my ward are elderly people who couldn't run to save their lives, and I imagine that the half that can run will be tripping and falling over all the walkers parked in the aisles.
