Judge Orders Continued Funding Of Eugenics In Contravention Of Federal Law

CBS News reports that U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani has ordered Heath & Human Services (HHS) to continue funding Planned Parenthood notwithstanding a new law cutting off Medicaid funding to groups "primarily engaged in family planning services, reproductive health, and related medical care" that also provide abortions. "Planned Parenthood also said more than half of its patients use Medicaid," the article relates, "so a funding cutoff would have 'devastating effects' on the group and its local affiliates, forcing some local health centers to close." But there is nothing in the article (or several others I reviewed) to indicate that the Judge found the law to be unconstitutional, and the article closes by noting that "the Supreme Court ruled last month that South Carolina can block Planned Parenthood from participating in the state's Medicaid program, finding Planned Parenthood could not sue the state under a civil rights law."

  1. I wonder if we compromised and funded abortions for illegal aliens only?

    1. The infuriating thing is that the judges aren't requiring these organizations to post bonds to support the injunctions they are seeking.
