Headline: "Central Park's Great Lawn will be shut for MONTHS after being 'destroyed' by Global Citizen Festival - with city now urging Mayor Eric Adams to host the event elsewhere in the future"--Daily Mail. The Global Citizen Festival was a concert supposedly to fight poverty where people could virtue signal about poverty or the environment and get free tickets to the event. NYC Councilwoman Gail Brewer noted that "12 acres of public greenspace will be unavailable to New Yorkers until April 2024 or later, all to accommodate a one-day event." But that is how Leftist's roll--they don't care about the little people.
