An irreverent video looking at all of the peoples that have conquered the Levant/Canaan/Palestine/Israel over the ages, set to the song "This Land Is Mine." I would note that this video was released 10 years ago, so obviously it has nothing to do with the current Israeli/Hamas war. For a more serious take on the subject, check out the second video below which creates a timeline of what nations and what religions have controlled Jerusalem. The polity that controlled Jerusalem the longest where the Romans (including the Byzantine Empire) while Islam has been the dominant religion for the longest period of time. The second video was released about a year ago, also pre-dating the current war.
