The Post-Truth Era: Vaccines and Auto-Immune Disorders

I had recently noted that we live in a post-truth era where we can expect that the elites, including government, academia, and large corporations, will more than likely lie to the public about any given topic. My prior post focused on the lies concerning the origin of the Covid virus. This one is on certain side-effects of the Covid mRNA vaccines. Consider it a timeline:

Autoimmune diseases, such as arthritis and multiple sclerosis, are chronic (long-term) illnesses where our immune systems attack our own cells.

There is no evidence to suggest that COVID-19 vaccines can cause autoimmune diseases.

... Recent evidence has shown that some COVID-19-vaccinated individuals can occasionally develop as a potential side effect Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS), a severe neurological autoimmune condition in which the immune response against the peripheral nerve system (PNS) can result in significant morbidity. GBS had been linked previously to several viral or bacterial infections, and the finding of GBS after vaccination with certain COVID-19, while rare, should alert medical practitioners for an early diagnosis and targeted treatment. ...

Side effects to vaccines started to be reported with the increasing number of people getting vaccinated. There were minor side effects that were reported in clinical trials including site of injection pain and heaviness and constitutional symptoms like fever and fatigue which are considered minor. Other side effects that were not reported in clinical trials include thrombosis and seizure.

Many case reports were published in relation to rare side effects like cardiac arrhythmias, facial nerve palsy, and abortion. One of the adverse events that were noticed is the exacerbation of autoimmune disorders like multiple sclerosis and post vaccine new onset autoimmune diseases.

In this article, we report 31 patients with new onset post vaccine autoimmune diseases and a severe exacerbation of an existing disease including patients with connective tissue disorders, vasculitis, and neurologic diseases. To our knowledge, this is the largest cohort of patients reported in the literature and the first in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries.
Mainstream publications and regulatory agencies have buckled to public pressure to admit the COVID-19 vaccine can cause injuries such as myocarditis and pericarditis—but until recently, they’ve published little or nothing about the substantial number of people suffering from autoimmune disease after vaccination.

However, on July 3, the journal Science published an article confirming that COVID-19 vaccines are linked to autoimmune disorders, such as small fiber neuropathy and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).

And:

Science reported that increasing numbers of researchers are making diagnoses that include small fiber sensory neuropathy, which causes tingling or electric shock-like sensations, burning pain and blood circulation problems, and POTS [postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome]—a condition that affects blood flow and can result in symptoms such as lightheadedness, fainting, and increased heartbeat—that appear when standing up from a reclined position.

Post-vaccination symptoms could have features of one or both conditions. People with long COVID can suffer similar symptoms, according to the article.

Small sensory fiber neuropathy and POTS also are associated with other vaccines such as Gardasil, Merck’s human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.
