Sunday saw two Muslim men--a father and son duo--target beach goers at a Hanukah event in Australia. The 50 year old father, Sajid, was killed at the scene; his son, 24-year old son, Naveed Akram, is hospitalized. The pair killed 15 and wounded some 40 others in a 20-minute attack, using a shotgun and a bolt-action rifle. The firearms were all licensed and legally owned; the father "was part of a 'gun club' and held a recreational hunting license for over a decade, officials said."
It's another case of a know wolf: "Mike Burgess, who leads Australia’s domestic intelligence agency, said one of the shooters in Sunday’s attack was known to the agency, but hadn’t been considered an immediate threat."
So where were the police in all of this? According to one report, there were four police officers present during the shooting, but they froze and did nothing. "It wasn’t until a good Samaritan, a local fruit seller, disarmed one of the terrorists that police appeared to return fire, taking out one of the shooters, video shows."
And what did the authorities learn from all of this? That certain cultures and ideologies cannot be peacefully integrated into Western societies? That the police aren't there to protect the public? That a disarmed public are sitting ducks for terrorists? No. Of course not. Rather, as Reuters reports, "Australia plans tougher gun laws after police say father and son killed 15 at Bondi Beach."
Update:
- "Bondi Beach terror suspect Naveed Akram studied at a Sydney Islamic center"--New York Post. The Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO), the country’s version of the FBI, also believe that "Akram and his father, Sajid, 50, pledged allegiance to ISIS before the attack, and terrorism investigators found an ISIS flag in their vehicle, the public broadcaster reported, citing sources."
- The Good Samaritan that did the job the police wouldn't do turns out to be Ahmed el Ahmed, a 43-year-old father of two from Syria.

ReplyDelete"Bingo! Give that man a cigar!" as Groucho Marx used to say. Islam and the West are incompatible and cannot coexist in the same space. Moreover, history proves beyond all doubt that Islam is a creed of conquerors; the sons of Allah take jihad (holy war) with them wherever they go, as commanded by their prophet.
It is germane to note that Islam divides the world into two spheres: Dar al-Islam, which means in Arabic "The House of Islam" (Literally "the house of submission" since Islam means submission), which is composed of the world-wide community of believers regardless of their physical location, and Dar al-Harb which means "The House of War." This second category is composed of all infidels (non-Muslims) in the world, regardless of their location.
Mohammed said to his followers ~ 1,400 years ago that "jihad" was so vital to the faith that it ought to have been made the "sixth pillar" of the faith alongside the five established by sharia law. Indeed, any mujahid (holy warrior) who perishes waging it against the infidel is taken directly to paradise.
The young, military-age Muslim males flooding into the West and places like Australia are not, per se, refugees or migrants looking for a new home; they are invaders and conquerors in the name of their faith. They are not in Australia to adopt Australian ways; they are there to bring Islam and sharia law to Australia.
