VIDEO: Kephart's 1920s Emergency Survival Kit

Horace Kephart was the author of the classic outdoors guide Camping and Woodcraft, one of the earliest how-to books on camping and the outdoors, filled with tips that are still useful notwithstanding the march of time and advancement in gear. The producer of this video has put together a kit based on Kephart's writings that he would have carried on a belt pouch as an emergency kit, using what appears to be equipment appropriate to the era. So both history and a guide to some useful items to carry in a survival kit.
