This is the last in Canterbury's look at weapons suitable for short term survival off the land--i.e., not homestead or defensive firearms. The final weapon on his list of top 5 such weapons is the Henry Lever Action in .22 WMR. Although not as packable as the other firearms on his list, because it cannot be broken down to slip into a backpack, it is light enough and its overall size is small enough that Canterbury says he can carry around all day without issue. He discusses some of the other pros and cons of this weapon for a short-term survival weapon.
