Andrew Klavan reviews a French novel--Submission--that suggests that the Muslim invasion of France, specifically, and Europe more generally, is because there is a cultural/spiritual void, and Muslims are just moving into what is essentially an empty place. In other words, Europeans are spiritually and emotionally incapable of preventing the invasion because their cultures (and pride in their cultures) are dead. From there, he morphs into a discussion of the policy decisions that have enabled the mass immigration into Europe without requiring migrants to really and truly assimilate. It is worth the time to watch.
