The LDS Church's website has a small collection of photographs of the exterior and interior of the new Meridian, Idaho, temple. An open house, with public tours, is set to begin this coming weekend on October 21, 2017, and continue through November 11, 2017, after which the temple will undergo a thorough cleaning (hopefully not too involved since they make you wear a covering over your footwear--something enacted after one temple's open house had such heavy foot traffic that they had to replace all of the carpeting after the open house) and be opened for use by members. While most church services and activities are in local church buildings, more sacred rituals--including marriages--are reserved to the temples.
