Backers Needed for "Deadly Ingenuity: A History of Unusual Weapons"

Robert Escobar, author of the book Saps, Blackjacks and Slungshots: A History of Forgotten Weapons (a truly fascinating book if you haven't read it) is trying to raise money on Kickstarter for a new book to be titled Deadly Ingenuity- A History of Unusual Weapons. He writes of this new book that "[i]t is over 72,000 words and 20 chapters that focus on forgotten, fascinating fighting tools and techniques from across the centuries and cultures." Also:

This new book doesn't trace the story of one weapons family throughout all of history as that one [referring to the Saps book] did. Instead, it hopscotches through over 50 fighting implements, many of which get proper attention for the first time and some of which are being discovered for the very first time. I am proud of this book and know anyone interested in martial arts will enjoy reading it and learn a lot in the process.

Anyway, as of this writing he has raised $1,436 out of a $3,500 goal to get this thing published. So if you can kick in a bit to get him to his goal, it would benefit everyone interested in martial arts and martial weapons. The link to his Kickstarter page is here.
