Election Run Up

Everyone is getting ready for the election. "The National Guard is gearing up to activate across the country to support the Nov. 3 general election in several capacities. The missions range from assisting with cyber defense, working the polls, and standing-by in case of post-election civil unrest," says the Military Times. Businesses and government offices are being boarded up in case of riots. Buzzfeed News reports that "activists, right-wing militants, racial justice organizations, and everyday voters have been preparing themselves for the possibility of widespread and violent civil unrest. Spurred by a year of historic tumult, they’re constructing their own bulletproof vests, stockpiling food, buying guns for the first time, and planning escape routes to safe spaces off the grid." Record numbers of people bought guns in October if the 3.3 million NICS checks are any indication. (How much is due to potential unrest and how much is because Biden is promising to ban "Assault Weapons," and "High Capacity" magazines is anybody's guess). Democrats are cutting off relationships with friends and relatives that support Trump.

The Democrats are convinced that the next president will be Joe Biden. Even if he wins, I doubt that he will be president. The Daily Mail reports that "Barack Obama had to call Joe Biden three times before he finally emerged at Michigan rally, then had to remind him to put his mask back on and help guide him off the stage." That was just the beginning of the fun:

During the rally itself, Biden also appeared to stumble over the word 'healthcare' while lining up a shot at the newest member of the Supreme Court - a Trump nominee - Amy Coney Barrett.

'Donald Trump thinks health care is a privilege, Barack and I think it's a right to have badakathcare,' he said.

He fumbled again at the end of the rally, as Obama returned to the stage wearing a facemask and the two waved to the crowd before going off together.

Biden - who was wearing a mask as he emerged before removing to speak - appeared to forget he hadn't put it back on as he departed.

Obama stopped him at the top of the stage steps and said a few words to him, after which he jogged back to the podium in search of the face covering.

After about 20 second of fumbling, Biden eventually found the face covering - which was in his pocket, not on the podium - and put it back in place.

If Biden wins, I anticipate that one of the first things to happen after inauguration day (assuming he doesn't pass away before then) is that he either steps down due to health reasons, or is removed from office under section 4 of the 25th Amendment and Kamala Harris will become the president. (Quick question for the Constitutional scholars out there: if Biden passes away before the House declares him the winner of the election--assuming that he wins--who becomes the President? I assume as runner-up that Trump would win, but I don't know).

Although all we've been hearing for the last few weeks is that Biden is a shoe-in to win the presidency, Vox Day notes that "Demoralization Season is now over and it's Maintain Future Credibility time." Thus the polls are beginning to narrow or in some cases completely flip. For instance, Trump now has a 7 point lead in Iowa and "The Democracy Institute/Sunday Express poll of 1,500 likely voters was conducted between October 28 and October 30 and shows Trump with a one point lead over Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the national popular vote, 48 percent to 47 percent," and "also shows the president leading in the Electoral College by a margin of 326 to 212."

Antifa is getting ready to show its famous tolerance of others. "An anti-Trump protester screamed at police that she hoped ‘all of your children get raped and killed’ during clashes in Manhattan on Sunday," reported the Daily Mail. Yale University psychiatrist, Bandy X. Lee "believes that Trump supporters can only be persuaded to abandon their support for the sitting President of the United States by having some immense trauma visited upon them, along the lines of the firebombing of Dresden." The New York Post's article, "Progressives sharpening knives for Dem ‘bloodbath’ if Biden loses" relates:

“You would see a complete repudiation of the Democratic establishment as we know it,” said Jabari Brisport, 33, a Democratic Socialist-backed candidate for state Senate expected to easily win a Brooklyn seat next week. “The Democratic establishment is not working for everyday people.”

Brisport said a Biden loss would completely discredit the moderate wing of the party, paving the way for more successful insurgents like himself.

“It’s going to be the mirror image of what happened to the Republican party in the Obama years. You had the tea party, just like progressive insurgents, and then when Obama won a second term the Republican party went haywire on the inside and ate its own,” he said.

Unlike the tea party, a progressive revolution would be “a force for good,” said the true-believer Brisport.

One senior official at a Democratic Political Action Committee was blunter.

“If Biden loses it’s going to be a f–king bloodbath. There’s no other way to put it,” he said. “Heads will roll. It’s going to be ugly.”

Another source relates that "[d]ozens of leaked internal documents and Zoom call video footage were made public today describing plans by progressive activists and federal workers to disrupt and destabilize Tuesday’s US election outcome, including plans to 'shut down the White House.'" And Townhall warns that George Soros is ready to roll-out a plan B to force from Trump office should he win re-election (brackets in original):

Billionaire George Soros is spending big—$70 million at last report—to evict Donald Trump from the White House. The radical philanthropist vilifies Trump as nothing more than “an impostor and a con man and a would-be dictator.” He considers America’s 45th president a "danger to the world" who would like to establish a “mafia state” here at home.

Which is why Soros is determined to oust the president and push the "Big Guy"—aka Joe Biden—over the finish line in first place on Nov. 3. But what if Biden loses? Well, don't expect Soros to give up and go home.

George Soros has a plan B, and it's already underway, insists Richard Poe, co-author with David Horowitz of The Shadow Party, an in-depth examination of Soros’ far-reaching influence. “George Soros is trying to steal the election," Poe told D. James Kennedy Ministries, which produced the new, nationally aired documentary, Radical Billionaire: George Soros and the Scheme to Remake America. Poe claims Soros "has a whole crack team of experts, the top experts in the world.... And they are absolutely trying to steal this election."

Soros is committed to Trump’s removal. He assured elites at Davos in 2018 that Trump is a "purely temporary phenomenon that will disappear in 2020, or even sooner.” That's not an idle boast. Soros has an established record of driving leaders from power. Horowitz and Poe assert that “Soros’ Open Society Foundations have facilitated coups and rebellions in many countries, always ostensibly in the interests of ‘democratization.’”

Soros crowed in 2001 that his Open Society Foundations network has achieved "significant successes" in Slovakia, Croatia, and Yugoslavia where "civil society was mobilized to overturn ... overcome, rather, an oppressive regime." (see here at 22:25). Soros tried to catch himself, but "overturn" is correct. That's obvious from how Soros-financed forces were deployed in Yugoslavia and, later, Georgia to sweep rulers off the stage.

In Yugoslavia, Soros-funded protesters clogged Belgrade's streets to contest and halt an election. Rather than wait for the outcome of a run-off vote, the Soros-bankrolled "Otpor," a militant 70,000 strong youth organization staged a coup, write Horowitz and Poe. And they did so, the authors explain, not by relying on Kumbaya singalongs, but on fists, boots, guns and Molotov cocktails. On 5 October [2000], revolutionaries rioted in Belgrade, setting fire to the Federal Parliament Building and the headquarters of the state television network RTS. Janes’ Sentinel reports that Otpor-led units armed with AK-47s, mortars and shoulder-launched antitank weapons set up road-blocks around Belgrade

Then-President Slobodan Miloševic resigned and was immediately arrested and sent off to the International Criminal Court for trial.

Be sure to pray for our country.

  1. Despite all the chatter regarding George Soros, and the many conspiracy theories surrounding him, I have a really hard time taking him seriously. Why is that? Because the guy is 90 years old...and the global average life expectancy for humans is 72.6 years! No matter how bad an actor he may be, no matter what he's currently up to, his days are seriously limited.

    1. It's true that Soros is getting long in the tooth, but that isn't really the end of his influence. He has put together multiple foundations that fund and organize even more "progressive" institutions. He has paid for many of the liberal prosecutors that have failed to prosecute rioters, and put together other voter influence organizations. These organizations will outlive Soros. Right now, however, he is a convenient face to attach to them.
