Hallmark Bows To Pressure From People That Will Never Watch Its Programs

Last week, under pressure from conservative group One Million Moms, the Hallmark Channel pulled some advertising featuring lesbian weddings with the "brides" kissing. (The advertiser had submitted 6 ads, four of which featured lesbian couples). This resulted in a backlash from Leftists that caused Hallmark to cave and reinstate the commercials. From the article:
      Hallmark's statement said the network will be 'working with GLAAD to better represent the LGBTQ community' and will be reaching out to Zola [the advertiser] to reestablish its partnership and reinstate the commercials.

      'Across our brand, we will continue to look for ways to be more inclusive and celebrate our differences,' Perry said.
 The problem for Hallmark is that the Leftists LGBT supporting crowd are not the audiences that actually watch the Hallmark Channel. The One Million Moms are more representative of the actual audience. So what Hallmark has done is alienate and anger their customer base. They may soon face their own "Go Woke, Go Broke" problems.

    Strangely, I've been to Burger King more often than Chick-Fil-A recently. I'm sure that's unrelated.

    1. If only they would chase dollars: then they would at least produce products their customers wanted. This is pure virtue signaling, stupidity, profound fear of something worse than losing their customers, or a mixture of the foregoing.
