I've noted before that the root causes behind this conflict has been over pipelines--whether from Iran, or from the Gulf States. Now we will have to see if the Gulf States pour more money into the conflict, or abandon their erstwhile allies.
Meanwhile, we have bubbling in the background the Iranian nuclear weapons program. which the Obama Administration has been supporting for much longer than suspected. Ace of Spades reports that Argentine President Kirchner has revealed that in 2010, an Obama Administration Official asked Argentina to provide Iran with nuclear fuel. The incident has been confirmed by the official named by Kirchner. In any event, getting back to the present, PJ Media reports:
Despite the Iran deal, the Islamic Republic in Tehran will not complete its nuclear arsenal because Israel will attack and defeat them, predicted Jewish spokesman Tom Rose at the Family Research Council’s 10th annual Values Voter Summit on Saturday.I think I will be rereading Ezekiel 38 and 39, because this Iranian/Russian military alliance in Syria has the potential to morph into something much larger.
“Can I tell you a secret? Iran is not going nuclear — it won’t happen. Israel will not allow it to happen,” Rose, an XM Satellite Radio host and former CEO of the Jerusalem Post, predicted. “War is coming. There’s no doubt about that.”
Rose joined Mona Charen, a syndicated columnist and senior fellow at the Ethics & Public Policy Center, to discuss the irreconcilable differences between Israel and Iran. Both attacked the Iran deal, and both presented the Islamic Republic as a dire threat to the Jewish state and the United States of America.
