Storms in Southern California

Yesterday I noted the impact of storms in Central and Northern California. Today, a story from the L.A. Times indicating that storms had knocked out power to 70,000 homes, and flooding and mudslides had blocked many streets. Don't be this guy, though:
Bill Golubics said he was standing on his front porch in Camarillo Springs watching the rain come down shortly after 2 a.m. when he heard a loud boom.
"The mud hit my front door and blew out the front window," he said.
Unable to get back in, he waited outside until firefighters came and took him to a Red Cross shelter.
"There was no way I could open the door," he said.
Reminds me of a joke concerning OnStar and a woman who had locked herself out of her car with the windows open.
